City Garden, which opened in 2011, is a lushly landscaped urban park that combines the beauty of native plants, flowers, and trees with 24 pieces of original sculpture that has set the reset the national benchmark for landscape architecture in urban green space. One of the parks three water fountain features offers a splash area, while another offers a reflecting pool and waterfall. There are picnic areas as well as a small restaurant located onsite. City Park is located on Market Street in downtown St. Louis and off street parking is available in addition to nearby city parking garages. Admission to the park is free.

City Museum, located at 701 North 15th Street, is housed in a building that is architectural wonder as it is completed constructed of reclaimed materials found in the St. Louis area, ranging from tiles and bricks to abandoned planes. Visitors can explore exhibits ranging from circus history to natural history as well as the chance to explore caves and treetops. On the roof, there is a splash pond as well as Big Eli, a four story revolving Ferris wheel. The City Museum is also home to the World Aquarium, which features a wide variety of marine life, ranging from river otters to sharks.

Busch Stadium, a modern ballpark located at 700 Clark Avenue, is home to the St. Louis Cardinals. Busch Stadium has all the amenities to enjoy the excitement of major league baseball in comfort.

Eugene Field House and Museum, located at 634 South Broadway is a house museum that was the originally the home of Eugene Field, a poet whose father Roswell Field case represented Dred Scott in the landmark Supreme Court case. The house, dating from around 1845, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the home is filled with objects owned by Roswell and Eugene Field and their families. The home also features vintage furnishings from the 19th century. Permanent exhibits include toys and dolls dating from the late 18th century to the present and a library with books from the same era. Additionally there are photos and other exhibits detailing the events surrounding the Dred Scott case.

In addition to these attractions, there are miles of bicycle trails in downtown St. Louis and riverboat cruises that leave the marina near the Gateway Arch, the globally recognized St. Louis landmark. There are many venues featuring live music and restaurant with cuisine to please every palate. With everything downtown St. Louis has to offer, it is the perfect vacation destination.
